Darryl Kile, The Ultimate Teammate

Podcast Highlights

If there’s one guy that stands out as the perfect teammate in my 50 years of baseball, it’s Darryl Kile. The Kile story is uplifting, but it’s also very sad. Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, and Tony La Russa help me tell his story here.

Loved this, Larry! DK was a very special guy. I used to send him notes of encouragement when he was up and down in AAA. He got confused a couple of times when different pitching coaches would try to tell him how to pitch. He and Flynn were/are very special to me.
